Mr. Krule has been an investor, turnaround executive and healthcare professional for several years, including 2 years as advisor and turnaround executive in the addiction treatment industry.
His first intense leap into the healthcare field began in 2008 when he and his colleagues acquired and operated MetroSouth Medical Center (formerly St Francis Hospital) in Blue Island, just south of Chicago. In the spring of 2012, Mr. Krule and his group successfully negotiated the sale of the restructured 330-bed hospital to Community Health Systems (CHS), one of the nation’s largest owners and operators of general acute care hospitals, with the scale and resources required to continue moving the hospital forward.
Mr. Krule has over 30 years of investing, operating and financial experience, and a comprehensive background in sophisticated financial and operating engagements, including the evaluation and restructuring of distressed opportunities, the rapid deployment of financial resources and the implementation of unique executive turnaround management teams and strategies.
